Keeping the Peace
A commercial peacekeeping edutainment prototype built on Unreal Engine 5.8. Success is measured in civilians protected, hazards cleared and services restored - not in territory taken.
KTP forces are fictional and not affiliated with the UN, NATO or any state.
Institution-funded, not only crowdfunded
The prototype is being produced under a George Brown Polytechnic-funded, CEWIL-backed industry-academic partnership with Valente Productions, running July to December 2026. CEWIL is Co-operative Education and Work-Integrated Learning Canada.
That partnership follows a successful George Brown Polytechnic NSERC-funded R&D grant awarded May to June 2026. The Kickstarter campaign runs alongside this work - it is not the source of the development funding.
David guides the direction of the project rather than contributing to it - setting narrative, creative and technical direction across the production and holding the standard the team builds to.
Where these pipelines lead next: current XR research →A funded industry-academic production. The roster spans programming, XR development, virtual production, technical art, 3D modelling, animation and sound engineering.
